After being nominated for Best DJ for Urban Underground 2011 DeeJay Gemini comes home with a W for the 626/SGV.
The two part, YES two part voting process had us all in a frenzy especially after only having 5 days to push to get the numbers required to beat out the competition. As many of you were able to witness via Twitter the race was neck and neck up until the final votes were counted.
The runners up even managed to edge in more online votes AFTER the 5:00 deadline which had us all left in suspense as to whether Urban Underground would count those votes in, they ended up doing so, but what made the essential difference was the 30 odd plus votes Gemini secured at the venue to gain the a win by what was said to be 2 votes.
